Abstract

Oliver Baltzer received his Doctor of Philosophy from the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University in Halifax/Canada in 2011. The title of his doctoral thesis is "Computational Methods for Spatial OLAP".

Oliver's current research interests are:

Oliver has been a member of the cgmLab research group and a main contributor to the LaHave House Project. While studying at Dal, Oliver was an active member of the Dalhousie Chapter of the ACM and a passionate Open Source developer.

Oliver Baltzer received his Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Dalhousie University in 2011, an Advanced European Master of Science degree in Parallel and Scientific Computation from the University of Reading in 2003 and a German Certified Engineer degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences for Engineering and Economics Berlin in 2003.

Oliver maintains affiliations with Dalhousie University as an occasional guest lecturer and through Dal's Risk Analytics Lab.
